Soooo I forked it, accepted that 300 mined blocks and diff =4 ;]
My 3 P2pool nodes are running on https://github.com/Rav3nPL/dubstepcoin/tree/patch-1 daemon that have killed #5 checkpoint.
If there are some ppl that want to waste some power (dev will probably restart chain... or no?) ure welcome to mine
I`ll mine it for day or so just to check it is all ok (I`m not 100% sure that my P2pool fork will find valid blocks ;])

@ rav3n... first of all thanks for the p2pools you make, ive used your pools before and will continue to do so. Now, at risk of sounding dumb... how do I get myself a wallet address for a coin with no compiled client? I don't mind if the answer is "acquire python" I'm just really not in the know. I also dont understand if a wallet address on its own would stay valid after fixing and restarting the coin. Could potentially connect to your pool to test it out.

First, you have to look for PUBKEY_ADDRESS and PRIVKEY_ADDRESS, usually you can find them in base58.h

If PRIVKEY_ADDRESS is PUBKEY_ADDRESS+128, 128, you can just use vanitygen as specified at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Vanitygen
If it's not, you'll probably have to patch vanitygen. It's hardcoded somewhere if I remember it right.

For dubstepcoin it is 29 (see coin and p2pool code). I'm searching it in coin code grepping pubkey_

This will throw address in second
I get D1rav in less than minute on CPU.
Vanitygen will throw private key and address.
I'm always checking address for being valid using client, but if you not have one...
