Hi all,

Apparently I need to spend some time here in order to get full privileges, so let's introduce myself and my little project...

About four weeks ago I started to read about cryptocurrencies after bitcoin hit the local news. That was when I discovered that cryptocoins could be mined and how it was done. I was surprised that so many alt-coins existed, who were mineable (profitable) with a regular gaming PC. Out of curiosity I started to mine some alt-coins on Windows with my R9 280x (711kH/s) three weeks ago, traded them, and by now I have made around 0.325 BTC.

I also discovered that the alt-coins market can change rather quickly in terms of profitablility. Although I'm not a professional programmer, I'm quite good with .NET and OOP, so I decided to write a plain Windows program in order to let me mine the most profitable coins of my choice by getting the required info from the web, auto-switch mining pools, detect errors and initiate pool failovers. Meanwhile my little project has reached the testing phase, and I was curious if anyone would be interested to use it when it goes live.
You can have a look at the user interface here: https://plus.google.com/110519901716544947117/posts
Before the release I will add more visibility to the list with colors showing which coin is being mined, or which pool is in error.

I would really appreciate your feedback. Tnx!

I like you idea... I used auto-switch mining pool before and you have no control on what can be mined and end up with a little of everything...

if you can choose what's in your list and auto-switch after failovers and such it's a great tool
