Depends on how they are built. To be honest I'm skeptical about it since it may not be something that everyone needs in his life and it should be also secure compared to normal crypto services,I guess only crypto fans would buy like this phone.(Ofcourse others will still opt for an iPhone or a Samsung wish is unfortunate but that's just the beginning of the blockchain concept) But yeah,it's a good start, atleast there is companies interested in blockchain technology.Let's see where it goes.

What I know, the blockchain's smartphone is that it offers better security and improved user experience by integrating the storage wallet directly into the device, and enables direct trade of the original cryptocurrency without the cost of mining.

Seems like they find a new role in the market, do you see space for it ?
I see the need for it, since it might become a way for crypto to be widely used in the future. Although that is the case, I see that there are a lot of things that needs to be improved in those devices for it to be fit for daily use(in paying coins for services and goods). One of the first steps of it is for them to make transactions easier to execute using that type of smartphone.

"The company will create a blockchain network where each HTC Exodus will act as a node." Hmm. I really don't know about this. What blockchain network? I assume they're going to actually create a token? As I really doubt they actually mean that you could run your own bitcoin node on your device(as it would require a lot of memory).

I think their company just want to support the crypto world, even it might be some people thinking in a different way. It's true that we can trade crypto with a regular smartphone but I think this will make your trading system much easier tho, no one would create something if there is no other benefit.

The blockchain smartphone truly has to offer extremely high security and agility in data analysis. I think there are no phones in the world yet

I honestly have no idea on what they plan on doing with this. Seems like a marketing gimmick to me. There are so many companies that are trying/have tried to jump on the Blockchain buzzword bandwagon. A lot of people revere blockchain as being this all in one magic technology that can solve all of our problems and should be implemented in nearly everything. IMO this is a flawed way of thinking. Blockchain has a very specific set of use cases and definitely doesn't belong everywhere. A blockchain smartphone makes no sense to me. How does this even work? What's the incentive for maintaining the ledger? What is the ledger for? So many questions... With that being said, A smartphone that has a secure chip separate from everything else exclusively used for securing and storing cryptocurrency would be immensely valuable. It's just hard to trust something like this as the company could easily implement a backdoor. The software would definitely need to be open source for something like this. I think it would be great to have both a hardware wallet and your smartphone all in one with nil risk.

As the article explains, this is only something which MAY sound appealing to crypto nuts / tech junkies. This isn't going to reasonate with everyday people as it really doesn't offer much that they're going to need, all this is going to do is to provide for a sector of people who PROBABLY wouldn't even buy this sort of device anyway (due to the price tag which is going to come with features like this) Yet again, I'll point to the article with saying that this is an attempt at saving a company which is going to slowly fail. Not surprised, though did they really think this was going to work?

Many are stating their interest to blockchain technology and even the giants in the China but they are still doubting bitcoin. This is one of the conspiracies before that everything can happen with just a single click of instructions and now blockchain being adopted by one major company. Let's just wish that they won't create a new token for this idea that they have stated. If this gets more interesting I'll avail one HTC smartphone.

This is good. but we'll have to wait to know if it is worth it. It will depend ofcourse of the price and the usability of this smartphone or where it will be sold.

I believe that for any innovation there must be a reason and premises. The development of phones and other gadgets on blockchain should answer the question of why this is needed and how it will help in everyday life. I think that at the moment, few people will use devices on blockchain, because they don`t see the point. Devices on blockchain will be useful for only a few crypto enthusiasts, for whom it is important to ensure the safe storage of crypto currency and conduct transactions with it.

HTC seem to have gone deeper to blockchain after samsung found themselves interested to blockchain. When the news is out to the public about big companies getting their hands on this new technology, everybody seem to also want to go viral with the plans of their own. A blockchai device would be good, it would be more interesting if they come along with the default app like the EIDOO app, DENT, bubbletone and so on.
