Hello all, I have attempted to sell several items on btctalk and I never get any interest, but I can sell everything on ebay for the same or occasionally more money. I want to support the bitcoin community and I abhor ebay and paypal.  Am I doing something wrong here or is there a better place to sell with btc?

You need to sell things on bitcointalk that can easily be protected by escrow. If you are selling tee-shirts or DVDs then it would be your word against the buyer's in the event of a dispute. Someone acting as escrow could confirm that payment was received or that a package was sent/delivered, but could not confirm what was in the package.

In general the best kind of things to sell on bitcointalk are digital goods or digital services (that can be delivered digitally).
