ok. got an instance up and running.  using windows 64 server 2008. I'm mining quark At roughly 400kh/s. Got two days of it for 0.0068(roughly) and will see how it goes. easy to work with so far. It DID take OP reminding my how to use remote desktop, much to my chagrin.  If it works out, I may set up a pool on one.

Sure. on the second day, I'll run just the vps on quark mining. that will give me a decent snapshot

perfect. as soon as the qrk pool that I'm mining on comes back online, I'll pull my qrks out, and let just the vps run. PM me w/ the details as to when my time runs out or I need to send more$$, if you would.

ok, so the qrk pool I was trying to mine on came back up far later than I wanted to, so I miner Molecules.  I mined from 130p yesterday to 130p today, averaging 250kh/s. and I got almost 200 molecules. with that average hashrate, I"m not sure it's a viable choice for mining, but would certainly work for running pools or doing most anything else.
