Talking about mining litecoins
there is two types of R927x
one of the models has 2 gigs memory while other has 4 gigs
there is not much price difference..

http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GDDR5-2GB-2xDVI-Graphics-GV-R927XOC-2GD/dp/B00FONITCE

http://www.memorydepot.com/GV-R927XOC-4GD.htm

i saw that 2gig card mines at around 470 kh/s
but i could not find anything for the 4 gig one

does memory really affects mining speed?

thanks

they are pretty much the same... ram won'T change a thing, only clock speed

The 4GB card will use slightly more power and will probably have less headroom for memory over-clocking.

You will only get 470 kh/s  with a dose of over-clocking.

I run a 270X @ 450 kh/s : E : 1060 M : 1425 (5700)

@Panzertank Look likes you know how to build a rig and it's good anyways you should use the "mining" section to share your experiences.
