But , you basically used some (with copyright or not) image to create your logo. This might get the dev into a few troubles is he indeed uses it.
It happened before so you can't be certain it won't since the smell of money is strong around here.

Which has nothing to do with stealing artwork or clipart. Maybe it was CC licensed and you could used it, then sure why not. Still not much work was put in to your logo.
