You definitely should add Digitalcoin, Argentum and Securecoin to the poll. They have a great developer and a exchange for real money is coming in January.

Most alt coins are risky, PPC, NMC, MEC, ANC are a little bit safer than the rest.

I try to go with a coin that isn't making a lot of noise, so I can quietly mine all of the blocks before working hard to put out services Smiley.  Just wait and see Binarycoin in 6 months.
