qqc.cipherpool.com is up and working no problems. connection is fast and getting accepts.
Just need more people on there to get the Blocks flowing!
As for is it possible to solo mine... hmmm probably not. I think the last Hashrate i seen between all the pools was 1 GHash/s! Which is just completely crazy for a new coin 2 days in!!

I just changed 127.0.0.1:20112 in my start.bat file. but, couldn't connect. i'm in no problem, create a worker ?

I went back to the vanilla solo-mine.bat but it didn't improve my hashes, unfortunately. Mine was at 2.8mh/s while you guys were getting 5mh/s and now it's at 2.45mh/s while the others have fallen to around 3.3mh/s.
Is Scrypt Jane more system RAM intensive than regular Scrypt? I have 4gb for 3x7950. They run beautifully on plain Scrypt.
Those of you who reached 5mh/s, how much system RAM are you running and what GPU driver?
I don't believe it uses much if any more system ram than normal scrypt, thread concurrency being the same. Currently, I'm using 2.6 gb out of 16 with 4 GPUs mining (9 gb of total GPU memory), along with the standard windows background process usage and about 10 tabs open. I would think 4gb of system ram should be just fine. Currently running 13.11 (whql iirc), forgot I was going to upgrade to 13.12 today, oops. Had 5MH and now 3.3, running 13.12. The key to a high hashrate is the lookup-gap command, currently using --lookup-gap 4 --thread-concurrency 16384 .

I learned how to use qqminer yesterday and mined pretty well solo all night. I figured I would just change the url in the start.bat file, create my worker using the same name and password and then run the new start.bat. But, it wouldnt work.

Is there demand for a CPU miner that works with pools? The ybc minerd that's flying around doesn't have stratum, one has to do a small fix to the version by igotik3d. See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361158.0

It works perfectly now! You can connect.
Going to try it now.

I've already used the miner in the post with a different pool but I actually thought cryptovalley uses cg since their getting started paragraph is stating that. KEEP FLAMING

It's impossible to use CGminer for any Script Jane coin // a pool for a Script Jane pool. I used that bold feature hoping that no one ever is going to try mining a Script Jane coin with CGminer Happy mining!

I was wrong, just didn't read the post carefully. It's in fact impossible to use cgminer but I understand your question, you may have thought I've developed a stratum proxy conversion between scrypt and jane...
