That might to speed up the transaction time? Moving large amounts at once can do some real bad things. I notice that with many coins that if you gotta do a large trasfer sometimes the wallet locks up, i can not see it being anything dif on the other end as well.

Yup, bter is strange like that. I would think they would let you take at least 100k at a time. I remember doing TIX there and it took me 3 days to withdraw, not a pleasant experience.
