The best solution is to just remove signatures completely.   In most of the threads, no actual conversation even takes place.  It's just people posting their few lines for their signature  campaigns.   Bitcointalk would be 100x better without signatures.  Keep this place for real conversations, crypto lovers, and not 3rd world crypto scammers.

It isn't the country of origin, but the posters motivation and attitude that is the problem.

I recently recruited a girl from another forum, and she has joined my fit to talk project. She is from Venezuela, and her first language is Spanish. Her English skills are 'mid-range'. She has just managed to obtain an information technology degree in a country that is in economic and political chaos. Banning people like her would be a loss to the forum in my opinion.

I suffer from the same frustrations as the OP, and I have suggested a variety of solutions. One obvious one is the restriction of new posters to certain boards until the community has awarded them a few merits for their posting skills. Another is heavier moderation to delete useless spam posts, and the locking of spam fest threads. I believe it would be useful to lock threads that have not been active for a couple of months as well.

Cryptocurrencies are generally suppose to cut through all boarders regardless of a persons origin and not isolating some...and wait a second aren't some of these countries listed here not among the countries that are among the top adopters of the blockchain technology and besides this banning of ips does not deter users from coming back it just creates other problems like whitelisted countries getting the ban hammer too as VPNs could give users access to the forum.

I am Indonesian, and I found your post offensive. There are many Indonesian members,  that actually contribute to the forum. You should not generalise people based on their country, there are also tons of members from English speaking country spamming this forum and scamming its members. If the cause of their spamming behaviour is signature campaign, then I think bounty managers have the right to blacklist those accounts, so that spammer have no more reason to post rubbish stuff. Regarding scammer, there are a lot of trusted escrow you can use one of them.

But I wouldn't be against removing signatures either. Either that or make it so nobody can have a signature unless you achieve it by getting an insane amount of merit. That way if you don't contribute here you cannot earn. That would probably sort out shitposting here pretty quick.

My posts seems harsh but I've seen too many 3rd world cockroaches scamming hard earned money from honest people.

OP is a troll and probably won't make it another month, but I know where he's coming from.  I've suggested in a tongue-in-cheek manner that most of Asia should be IP banned, but that's unrealistic and unfair of course.  If we could get a handle on the alt account problem, the forum would be improved tremendously--or if sig campaigns were nuked.  That's unrealistic as well, though.
