I can confirm that development for PotatoCoin is underway once again. Sorry for the delay guys Smiley

We could have been a dynamic duo of tardism but you chickened out and changed your logo. Come on, change it back. Don't let the Libtards get to you.

I have no idea what you're referring to.

I know that Electric/VOLT had a different admin, but both VOLT and SPUD are/were being released by the HackShard group... this does not bode well if SPUD hits some tough times...

From http://eac.us.hackshard.com/index.php

Quote
ATTENTION: As of 10:30 AM (EST) on 1/5/2014 our 2nd server machine which hosted our Electric and Earthcoin EU pool has officially had a major harddrive failure. No data was recovered from this massive harddrive failure. I do not have any backups of any databases with usernames amount owed or anything. Nor do I have access to the wallets that where on those servers. Due to this I have officially decided to shut down HackShard.com This server will remain online until: 1/27/2014. At that time the server will officially expire and any remaining balances on any of the pools at that time will be considered owned by myself. Please make sure you not only stop mining by the 27th but you cash out before the 27th to receive payments.

I am truly sorry for anyone who lost money. I personally will be cancelling Electric completely and trying to find a new person to take over my project as well. Thank you for the great time everyone it truly was amazing

While I have been a great supporter and want SPUD to be a real world success... I am not longer in support of any coin that does not release with a minimum of a proven and working Windows wallet and source code from which Linux and Mac can be compiled.

I still like the idea of SPUD, but the developer has to prove to me that he is serious about this coin and will stand behind it through thick and thin. For some, mining and crypto-currency may be a hobby or interesting pastime... I am investing real money and time into the coins that I support... money and time that I cannot afford to lose or throw away.

So to the dev team of SPUD... develop and present a business plan... build and deploy the apps and software... then release SPUD... premine if needed to pay for all this time and work... prove you want to release a coin that could be a real and usable currency.

The concept behind SPUD is great, but...

I am no longer affiliated with DeviantTwo in any way.

So how'd this coin go? This page had almost 10,000 views. I guess there was a lot of hope for it.. Don't know why tho.
