Looks great, but for a newbie user who is just into mining might be too complicated to get it working!

I'm working on compiling XmasCoin-qt for Windows, was a bit complicated because my operating system had a crash, for now I only have Linux binary, and am working on the MacBook, while windows is reinstalled. If you can compile and pass the whole community would be great: D

As always great pool. however can you change the "You have exceeded the pools configured XMAS warning threshold. Please initiate a transfer!" as i don't have a windows wallet yet, so i'm not able to transfer the coins out yet.

Thanks

To be honest I'm not sure was planning on looking at a few offers and trying to think about how people will feel about it in the next few days.
Since there is 0 market for it yet, pm me what you have if you'd like and we can talk about it or state it openly here for others to see it might help this
coins case. This seems to be one of the few recent coins that was smooth with no pre-mine that seems reasonable and fair

The difficulty seems bugged right? Saying retarget in 10 blocks, but when it should retarget it stays to 4

Shouldn't need to re-install an OS unless you experience pretty massive data corruption, which usually indicates hardware failure.

I might have time to compile the windows client tomorrow, we'll see. My mingw compilation environment/dependencies aren't really suited to this version.

Well, I definitely don't get the retarget diff strategy, not sure it is working as intended.

Difficulty retargets every 0.35 days according to the Readme in the source.

The announcement specified a retarget every block using last 10 blocks average, but looking at how it behaves I think the Readme is correct.

all withdraws even automatic cost 1 coin on my site.  Its just the TX Fee that we charge.  If you have less then 1 coin then your doing it wrong no offense Tongue  I will be lowering the min withdraw limit though

If you are right, actually the version that has Proof_of_Stake on latest version of the portfolio that is based on the 0.8.6.2 and is in development as we improve this 20x speed issues and other security options. For now I apologize. The working group is in process of completing as soon as possible the new portfolio.

Another interesting coin, but you missed a trick not launching this BEFORE Xmas as you might have been able to exploit the holiday season. Now its over, this won't appeal as much i guess. Still, best of luck with it, I like the tree on the logo Smiley

Every 12 hours, the difficulty is adjusted again, placed in longer times for a more equitable undermine it. It is initiating a process of recension XmasCoin and so to have a reference point with BTC.

Message to the community cryptocurrency apologies are requested, developing XmasCoin was wrong and was not able to correct the block generator for the upgrade, which all necessary changes will be made and work on version 0.8.6.2 of the wallet Bitcoin. For now, just apologize and will work hard to get this cryptocurrency forward.

Thank you.
