Klondike coin is inspired by the great Klondike Gold Rush that started over 100 years ago and ran for around 3 years. The coin is relatively rare with just a little under 20 million in total. Welcome to the Klondike Region. Here we provide you with all the tools you need to find your first shiny klondike nugget.

Dont wait to long to get started, because since the finding of the first goldblock on January 9th 2014, many fortuneseekers have come to the Klondike region to try their luck. Lately the miners noticed that the goldblocks became nuggets and the nuggets became smaller and smaller. This insight drove the miners to invest in even bigger equipment to keep getting 77 KDC per block out of the ground.

This abusive plundering of the Klondike region is not over yet, but after nearly 2 months of intense mining by those looking to strike it rich, the steady stream of digital gold being found is beginning to dry up. Rumours of an 80% reduction in gold being mined over the next few days are travelling fast, demand is expected to outstrip supply quickly over the coming weeks.

From block 84576, due to arrive around 5PM GMT Sunday, the block reward will drop from 77 coins per block to just 16 coins per block! This will then halve after 30 days to 8 coins per block. Then a further 30 days after that there will only be 4 coins per block. For 4 years there will be 4 coins per block, with 1 block every minute. After 4 years the reward will change to 2 coins per block, after 2 years it will halve again to 1 coin per block for 3 years.

Then there will be 0.5 coins per block for the remaining 1 year, 2 months.

The last coin should be mined towards the end of 2024. Act now and dig up these large klondike chunks before the initial claim is fully exhausted! The real gold rush has only just begun and there are some exciting things in development for Klondike coin!

Its strugglign at the moment, check your miner isnt getting rejected shares. We need more pool operators as this ones getting hammered. COuld try solo mining, we wanted to make it easy by having a pool on launch but it'd seem its a little too popular!
It should settle down, when i started my miner i was getting a lot of rejected shares but it is settling down now.
