Look and learn from MEW incident yesterday, that MEW got hit DNS attack. Even previously also been rumored if Etherdelta, Mycripto and also Binance have been hit by this attack. The news here : http://blog.triv.co.id/myetherwallet-alami-serangan-dns/

From that incident, let's secure our digital assets with the following solutions:
1. Do not use google DNS, most attacks, attacking google DNS is considered less secure. Use only your ISP's default DNS, although it can not be said to be safe, but at least the ISP's DNS is rarely used by people.
2. Use a secure browser, for example Crhome that can check the validity of site security (green padlock marked left web address)
3. Use DNS Firewall, free versions are numerous but paid versions are better.
4. Avoid public Wifi, because many hackers there.
5. Use of virtual keyboard can save us from data theft (key logger)
6. Using the wallet offline.
7. Using Wallet Hardware, like TREZOR and others.
8. Avoid storing assets in Exchange, because exchange is one of the biggest hacker targets.
9. Save the assets separately, for example 1 BTC split into multiple wallets to store them.

Some of the above tips require a fee, so do not be afraid to pay the cost to protect our assets. What is free in life?  Grin Cheesy

Note : These tips from various sources on the internet and some forums here.

This is a good statement and this may helps everyone because this statement is about secure digital assets. So based on this nowadays many hackers are hacked other profile and they stole money from their account this is quite disturbing and it may destroy our business and system so we should aware of it I also agree this problem and here is some ideas like don’t not use public wifi but its true many of the thief are there who are known as hacker so we should avoid this.

I don`t have money to buy TREZOR wallet right now and I don`t have that much crypto savings, but it`s always good to know how to protect yourself from hackers.I don`t know anyhting about DNS and the difference between google DNS vs. ISPs DNS.I guess I have to read more about this topic.

5. Use of virtual keyboard can save us from data theft (key logger)

Since many newbies are reading some good stuff, isn't it good to tell them how to use virtual keyboard to avoid from data theft such as the key logger? You can get virtual keyboard by following this:

On windows 7

Please click on "Start" (Windows-Logo) then, execute "osk.exe" and Press [ENTER].
OR:
Open On-Screen Keyboard by clicking the "Start" button , clicking "All Programs", clicking "Accessories", clicking "Ease of Access", and then clicking "On-Screen Keyboard"

If you are in windows 10

Tap or click the OSK Options key, and then select the options you want: Use click sound. Show keys to make it easier to move around the screen. Turn on numeric keypad. Click on keys. Hover over keys. Scan through keys. Use Text Prediction.

You can also disable this after use. I use this virtual keyboard only when in need to ask for password in some sophisticated site. You can too.

Now the world is called as a world of technology. We can see the dominance of technology everywhere. Now the technology is using as a means of currency. Now people are focusing on the digital currency and hopeful to replace the flat currency. With the increasing adoption of technology there is also increasing the risk of security. So bitcoin users be safe and follow some general rule to save your assets though bitcoin has the strongest security

Do not use Windows operating systems for your Crypto currency transactions, because it is the most targeted operating system out there, apart from Android OS on mobile devices. I use Tails with a hardware wallet and I have 80%+ of my coins stored in cold storage, where nobody on the internet can get to it.

Make several backup copies of your paper wallets and store them in different locations, then you will be fine. ^smile^
