Would you like to buy a cryptocurrency that is worth 1 US Dollar for 1 US Dollar? And then use it to pay for regular things like meals and groceries? Just like with a credit/debit card! Then USD Coin is for you! This is a bit redundant, isn't it?

A new cryptocurrency is in town by Goldman Sachs. Allegedly, you will be able to pay for everyday things with this new coin! It will be as easy as swiping a credit card.

A payment startup Circle which is owned by Goldman Sachs announced that it will be launching a new cryptocurrency. Looks like they had some interesting ideas in the creative department because the new coin will be called, you guessed it – Circle USD Coin. Essentially, it will be a digital version of the dollar and you will be able to acquire it with real money.

Interesting, sounds a lot like tether. Maybe it will catch on and will be available in exchanges as an alternative. Right now, I don't like to rely solely on USDT for my needs of keeping some cash on exchanges.

Hopefully this kind of business that being introduce to us will become adaptable and successful, and I think they focus only on their own country and not for global usage. But I like on how the way it is, but for now, I'm still waiting if that kind of business will truly open to the market.

Interesting.  Successful or not, large global investment firms like GS entering the crypto space should hopefully soften the general acceptance of crypto as a viable and useful asset medium.

Nice sharing. I believe that buying a new crypto depends on some point of analysis like the company of the token, in which sector they are operating their business. Considering some other more facts, if it seems well, I will surely buy the new crypto.

That's great! Crypto currency is bringing change everyday! I think this coin will bring an evolutionary change in the crypto world. There're many compititors out there for USD in the markt. I hope it'll survive all of them. I'm hopeful towards it.

Well, I think that banks have finally realized that today crypto currencies are a very promising direction in real life, many today do not understand what crypto currencies are, but you have a chance today to become richer, use the crypt, but do not use Tethere and this project.

There is a great deal of coin in the domain of the cryptographic money advertise. Presently the market is brimming with a huge number of coin and a few are coming step by step. In any case, we can't state that the greater part of the coins is useful for contributing. Be that as it may, we can say something great with surety in regards to the bitcoin. Bitcoin has a type of adjustment and it is currently especially well known among the crypto financial specialists. Try not to dawdle by contemplating others.

This stablecoin can bring important changes to the market. Circle, the startup that is going to create this stablecoin, owns Poloniex. Therefore, it's quite possible that Poloniex will use it as a stablecoin and that other exchanges do the same. We will have to see how this affects Tether, taking into account the doubts that there are about Tether and that behind this new currency will be Circle and Goldman Sachs.

A new altcoin that is equal to USD but this time, it was backed by an American multinational investment bank and financial services company, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. Now this is more interesting! A new competitor of USDT and TUSD is coming to town which is more charismatic and stronger than those two. Seems like a good news for cryptocurrency.

CoinMetro - the future of exchanges

Isn't part of the idea of crypto to replace worthless fiat backed by nothing?
Kinda seems like a misstep, but we already use Tether so, why not.
Maybe it'd help adoption, and Tether seems to be in trouble, so if a reliable and trustworthy replacement came, that'd probably do good.

This sounds really interesting and I am very curious about it and will invest into it maybe. I know some will find it redundant as we can do the same using a debit or credit card but I think a new think is being introduced into crypto and we should appreciate it.

Its indeed sound like Tether. Well its a good hedge for the market volatility but I don't think it will gain traction in the community if Goldman Sachs introduced this kind of coin.

What will be the advantage then? Its gonna be redundant as US dollar and what you gonna with it? Just sit on the exchange? I don't know but for me I will not buy this kind of hype.

What is this? Another tether? I remember reading yesterday on a thread that a lot of the new coins coming into the market right now are just copies of coins which are already in the market and rebranded with another name and icon and now looking at this, I cannot help but think that they were right. We need more originality if new coins have any hope of survival in the coming years

"The USD Coin is being run on a blockchain known as ethereum, but Allaire said they're open-minded about other platforms if any come to market that can outperform."

Is this supposed to mean that this currency will be an ERC20 token? In that case thia could be beneficial to ETH too

what symbol will they use for USD coin this later?
I think this coin is very interesting and promising to be used in daily life, because the exchange rate is fixed or unchanged.
maybe USD coin will be the toughest rival of Tether.
