Always remember the most important rule in investing. Invest only what you can afford to lose. ICOs are risky but it's always better to do your research first. Get to know the team behind the project. My personal favorite is VLUX. Check them out https://vlux.io/

In investing in ICO, we must consider many things including the analysis of the project, unique product, real token supply, and team. If we are exact and sure about the project, we can invest in it. Each ICO commonly has different minimal amount to invest. I myself will not invest more than $500 because I'm also a beginner.

In my opinion, ICO investments are always risky. Of course you can sometimes find successful ones, but in my opinion, you should be very careful about the amount which you consider invest in.

Everyone says that the risk is too high, but how many of you really lost your money by joining scam ICOs? I think that nowadays it's much easier for discover all the red flags beforehand, so actually the risk is not so bit as everyone describe it.

The investment in ISO is over. There you can easily get many times more than invested. But this is very risky and it is good to think everything over.

I in many respects agree with you. In the cryptocurrency market, I don't understand one thing.
- the price of the token rarely depends on the successful development of the project.
This is nonsense, but it's true. Some kind of rumor or some loud statement on the social network can become a pump or a sharp fall. But the performance of the team with various innovations in the project may not affect the price at all. That was always not clear to me.
News - "The coin will be listed on Binance" - oh, the price soars and a week later falls lower than it was.
News - "The team entered into a partnership with X to increase security" - the price does not fluctuate, and sometimes even falls.
There is no explanation for this.

Well, it depends of your choice what ICO do you want to invest for. A lot of ICO today has been developed in the blockchain potentailly profitable by means of looking on the cap percentage of the roadmap which make closer to the hardcap to determine the great chances of ICO success in there campaign.

when you want to decide to invest in ICO or other trades, you have to know what you're up against, and you know that investing in ICO is risky, you have to be ready to bear it, and the money you will invest in ICO or some ICO you choose, I think you have done research before you make money on ICO, you must have done the right calculation.

Personally, I think, If you can find ICO you believe will succeed if you believe, if you do an inquiry, if you go early and get a good bonus, investing in ICO can make you rich. If I myself still not find ICO is good because lately there are many ICO scam. I have to do is research and have to be confident and have to be more alert with the existence of fraud that exists everywhere.

investing in ICO is much riskier than investing in the popular cryptocurrency, so I think you should look at the classic methods of investing

Amount of the investment depends on you, you should invest the amount you are able to afford considering the risks. I can suggest to look at Ambit Mining ICO it is very good project for investment.

First you need to find a good company and ICO to examine the idea of the project, the team, fees, legal aspects, etc.
With the amount of investment you have to decide for yourself, but must understand that the money you can lose once and for all.
Household logic suggests that in the wild market, where there are no rules and protection of investors ' rights, unqualified participant to lose money is much easier than to earn. So, before you invest in another brilliant project, you need to think carefully: is the risk premium?

ICOs are risky investment but should you take that risk?

For those who like to hear straight answers without spending much time on reading. My opinion is that you should definitely invest in ICOs but cautiously.

Here are few points to support why I strongly believe that one should invest in ICOs

ICOs give a chance to a common man to invest in early stages of the start-ups they like. This opportunity was earlier with rich people only. You can also invest in start-ups using crowd funding websites like:
https://angelinvestmentnetwork.co.uk

https://www.seedrs.com

In fact, By that route you would get equity in the company as well but if you study the investment deck of those companies you would see that most of them only have an idea or haven't done sufficient POCs of their product but are claiming that their valuation is in Millions and if you invest $100 in them you would let 0.000000000000034% equity. I mean, This is hell of a lot of equity :-) but I personally believe that most of the early stage start-up funding campaigns are nothing but a hype. So, The risk is extremely high on any type of start-up investment. It’s not only for us, It’s for VCs and experienced Angel Investors as well.

Then why I prefer ICO over Crowdfunding?

What I believe is that share/stock market have high percentage of people who understand market dynamics, charts, negative news & positive news. Lot of these people in the market act like a traders or a punters who want to gain when market goes down and again gain while it comes back up . The market factors effecting cryptocurrency markets are far more speculative then the ones effecting stock exchanges which would mean that their would be more and drastic upswings and downswings in the charts of cryptocurrencies as compare to the stock of listed company as most of the companies which get listed are very big and stable which also reduces the risk in their investment.

In a nutshell, the punters and speculating traders going ahead would prefer trading in crypto market rather than share market which will make this market more volatile with lot bigger upswings and downswings which would enhance the gain or risk further for the people investing in crypto space.

What you get in return of participating in this enhanced risk is the opportunity for huge/unprecedented/unimaginable returns.
So, Now that I have made it clear that after the approach to buy a lottery ticket (Which buy the way has far less probability of clicking big) to get unimaginable money, investing money in ICOs is commons man’s other opportunity to get unprecedented returns from their investment. I would say if you are looking for extremely high returns for your money you must invest in ICOs

How much should you invest in ICOs?

Very little, The amount you are prepared to loose. Remember the massive upswings and downswings to your coin would be created by market demand and not entirely by the success of the actual product. Success of the product which has gone through it’s ICO would give you really good returns in longer term but will never be able to realistically drive +10,000x returns in few months which lot of ICOs have delivered in past. So, you should invest very little in the ICOs.

To invest in one of the very legitimate ICOs visit www.talenthon.io

Statement: I am not a financial adviser, I own cryptocurrencies & I own stocks as well. Please consult your financial adviser before making any investment.
These are very good points you have elaborated. We should take note that making investments always comes along with the risk (whether in fiats or in Cryptos), and so you have to make sure you invest what you can afford to loose. Thats is the best form of investment one can ever think of.

Investing in an ICO is an investment that can benefit the investor well. But now there are many fraudulent ICOs on the market, so it is very difficult to choose the right ICO for investment. So, in my opinion, you should only spend 30% on this investment. Because if there are risks, you will not be much affected.
