I'd say invest enough $$$ to nail him really good as an example (videos uploaded to youtube, liveleak etc) for others thinking of trying to pull off the same thing.

I'm questioning whether his facebook profile is even real. I haven't taken a great look at it, but it didn't look substantial.

Has anyone ever been convicted of stealing crypto currency?

...And thats how ladies and gentlemen, people are making money....

Whois is hidden, but lol, you need to file DMCA complaint, pour some law in it and bang, whois is released.
He is quite stupid, unless he bought domain with stolen credit card.

I only put a small amount of EAC in because it was the only exchange at the time.  I will be happy to search for him on principle alone though.

It reeked of scam straight from the start. People said "give him the benefit of the doubt", but I knew, as soon as the site had gone down, that was it.

If anyone ever bothered to read the T&Cs, which I did quote when the first thread about Ecrypto came up, it basically amounted to "we'll close at any time without notice".

Eh lost money but nothing i cant live with for the risk. It happens.

What I dont get is why the attempt to fix it to begin with. If this was a scam seems like a lot of effort. Once it went down the first time why not leave it at that?

At the people wanting to get the law involved... I lol at that. I dont think you really get the true meaning of cryptos.

Could have been a hack.

Terms and conditions clearly stated site could close at any moment without notice. I think it was a scam.
