I've been on P2Pool for only 5 days now, and in the last 24 hours I've received a surge of dead shares...

On the P2Pool wiki it states "Very high dead rates can indicate miner misconfiguration.".. Does anyone know what exactly it means by mis-configuration? When setting my miners up, I try to keep the rejected shares under 7% and if it get's higher than that i'll lower the intensity.

Is there anyone here that has experience with P2Pool to help me out?

have you tried adding a /x after the username address,

I have the following hardware:

  • 2xAvalon 4 Module 55 Nm
  • 29 x BitFury Block Eruptors
  • 8 x BitFury Red's
  • 1 x BFL Jalapeno
  • 1 x BitFury Mining Blade
  • 1 x ATI Raedon 7990
  • 2 x ATI Raedon 7700

I use a variety of differnt versions of CGMiner depending on the hardware and p2pool
