It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

its ridiculously low, in the first place plus i think the fact that with alot of coins available merchants will see this as a better payment as price will be less volatile than bitcoins, also we have a real team behind this,

Many of the newer alts are experiencing this today. It almost follows the charts for the older alts. Almost all alts hit at a high and drop significantly. After a while when it is shown that there is still support the price sees a nice boost and shortly after stabilizes between half and full peak.
You never know where the peak is till you reach it though Tongue

This is just my two cents and really it is a fun ride along the way. I can see Fedoracoin stabilizing fairly high in terms of percentage increase because of the payment platform that is near completion and is really something different from the others.

And bring the conversation over to the community driven thread. It has all the updates with what is coming for TIPS

Not rally, it rises because there are some Chinese pumping on it and may drop back to where it was later on just like the lotto coin yesterday.

There is a Chinese investor recommend this coin, once the Chinese money gong, it may drop back. I bought one billion at 2 and just sold 80% of it at 15.

i really doubt it, the reason why it fell was because there was no dev behind it now we have, we are about to setup up payment for merchants this heading way up, buys are being bought steadily any pump would see chunks of trade but people are buying because its cheap and has a bright future, remember any currency in the future has to be stable, if the whole world will use it there has to be alot of it available, fedoracoin solves that problem.

if bitcoin becomes the currency everyone will use, and say it reaches $10,000 a coin, say you want to buy something for $10 your balance would be 0.001, say $100 your balance would be 0.01. that is not something nice to look at now if we compare it to fedora coin bitcoin market cap on $10,000 a coin is $210 billion. fedora coin price per coin would be 2.38 per coin for a market cap of $210billion, say we want to buy something for $10 we would have a balance of 4.2tips, or $100 42 TIPS,

ask yourself when you pay via bitcoins, and someone asks you need to send 0.001 bitcoins, does that even sound good,

bitcoin did start it all but it wont be the major player in the future. its difficult to buy bitcoins and with its sudden price movements people will be disappointed with their purchases as 2-3 weeks later the amount they paid for a item, if they held their coins they could have got something better

Read about the bitcoin protocol, it is actually a very flexible system. 0.001 will easily be given a new name or we'll change the decimal system in the protocol. Satoshi thought of this, that's why 0.00000001 BTC is called one Satoshi. They/he/she named the lowest unit(compare to 'penny') after themselves because they knew BTC will be worth enough for us to buy coffee with 1 satoshi Smiley

I also think it is more difficult to buy altcoins because you have to buy BTC first.

yes but if you ask how many people know about satoshi, bitcoin has been around for so long, and many people do not know this, and it still comes down to the long number 0.000000001. imagine dollar note reading 0.000000001, it just puts you down

if someone who buys coffee does not know how much a satoshi is the assistant would reply 0.000000001
