i honestly cant believe cryptsy didnt pick up this coin

It doesn't mean they won't there are things about this coin that are better than many coins on Crypsy it just may take some time.

Not being on Cryptsy at this moment is a good thing.  A mass sell-off could happen again. Having minimal trading right now may be best way to turn this around.  Now we can build awareness and interest in the coin-- ramp up demand!

Let's create a Facebook app for TIPS. Basically a Facebook based wallet.  I think this would be an effective way to differentiate TIPS from other coins and build a wider audience/user base with everyday people.

I have no idea what the scale/complexity of this project would be.  Thoughts?

Alright I am still awaiting a reply from the dev about where we can send these, I am still a bit new here too just felt we needed to get a bounty going.

So at the moment it is at, assuming everyone who has posted is serious....

21.5 Mil TIPs as a bounty for an android wallet

I would make an address for us all to send to to ensure the bounty as of now but i have seen how those ideas are taken from jr members without any private trades so until then we wait on Dev.

I really think a wallet will help, having TIPS handheld is a necessity.

I will contribute 4.5 million tips to bring the wallet reward to 25 million.

This coin is so underrated, quite allot of work is being done on it.

Plus i think this is a long term investment coin, the block rewards half to 2,500,000 at 100000 blocks.

I'll throw in 5 million to make it a sweet 30.

LET'S FREEZE!  This coin has interest and support from a growing community of people. We need to rethink the whole business plan and let all of these eager beavers get involved!  We've got development and marketing support that we need to put to work.

We need a check-in with the primary developer.  Let's make it happen!

When I say "check in" I mean joining us in this discussion.  There's a nice group of people here that want to contribute to making something happen with this coin, and the only one with REAL control over the situation hasn't chimed in yet!  I guess I'm just looking for the "main man" to jump in to this conversation.

I agree we do need to see the Dev in here, the community can only do so much.

As far as the bounty for the android wallet I am still awaiting a response from the Dev for an address or some way we can go about this properly. On the first page the bounty is only 500k and at this point we have raised a potential 30 mil.
(I only say potential because we have yet to sen to a place it can stay)

I agree it would be nice to hear from the Dev, my pool accounts for the majority of the network hash power (runs great, hitting 700mh sometimes) and really seems to be quick for network confirmations, low orphan rate, and other things that some coins have a terrible time with.

I am especially happy it is trading at Coinedup, it makes running a pool for a new coin worth it. Converting to LTC has been a great process over there, even if it is quite a bit lower trade value compared to yesterday even.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to contribute, I am planning some MPOS upgrades soon which should help with some of the miner community requests relating to better account management.

If you want to mine it with me join fed.notnull.org or just visit notnull.org and find the location.

NEW TOPIC-- an way off topic

Is there a way to fix the mining hash rate so we could deploy a mobile ap that allowed regular people to mine coins on their phones- while still meeting the needs of the blockchain?  Basically, let's change the paradigm. Let's think about including a broader audience, a mass audience as the backbone of the coin.  The biggest hurdle for cryptos is achieving actual, real, and sustained utilization.  This is the difference between being a commodity and a currency.

Up to this point the whole bitcoin/altcoin world has been about the miners creating the coins and speculators buying them up. The future of cryptocurrency is about more than just miners. Think about this: What if mining rewards were equalized? What If everyday people were creating/mining coins on their mobiles and pc's and laptops.  Suddenly there would be a profound increase in participation and the currency would actually be in the hands of the people to use as real money.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm honestly not interested in any TIPS.
As kind the gesture is, I would much rather have someone who's knows about this stuff to teach me the ropes Smiley

Although this might be asking for too much, I want to learn so I could hopefully prop up a guide or the like later on so I can help other people who are in the same position as me.
There's been a couple of bitcoinj ports, but no guides yet! I'd like to change that.

Does anyone know why Coinedup removed the TIPS to BTC? I'm still mining TIPS because I think it does have some prospect and I want to sell a bit right now.
