Is it worth getting this coin on another exchange? Will it help? Because you can vote for it on MintPal
Stuff It Why Not, Lets Do It, Vote for TIPS on Mintpal hahaha 10000 satoshis a vote is quite a lot... Specially for a second range exchange like Mintpal You don't have to pay, only if you want to. I don't. |

Well we are hanging on IRC right now with hercules1600 but we don't really know what's happening. My guess: the recent post on Reddit for the new website, the new Subreddit and Hercules' website moved the lines a bit |

My guess: the recent post on Reddit for the new website, the new Subreddit and Hercules' website moved the lines a bit Hmmmm, more miners coming back into the coin as well as the difficulty going up in kind. Not sure what is going on...but seems to be something. Hercules1600 website services should not be overlooked. If it gains some traction, could be a real winner for using TIPcoins/Fedoracoins. Fingers crossed. I suggest tipping him for his efforts to create an online presence/avenue for which we can use the TIPS....in so encouraging further development/marketing of the website. |

I have been mining TIPS now for 48hours on Multipool.us with 3.4Mh/s.
Estimated payout per day says something around 7 - 8 Million TIPS but I'm only getting 4-4.5 Million/day these 48 hours.
So this morning I switched to fedora.coin-pool.org, only been mining for 1 hour and so far I got 156,618 TIPS.
If it continues like this then 24h profit will be around 3.7 Million TIPS.
Everywere I look I should be getting around 7 - 8 Million TIPS.
So I'm getting around half of estimated TIPS/day.
If we look at rejects I was at ~.07% at multipool.us and HW at ~.02%
Is it normal to only get around half of estimated TIPS/day?
Edit: Diff has been stable around 9-11 during the 48h on multipool.us

Getting HW is not normal.
How did you calculate your estimate? Maybe formula was using old block reward - we halved recently.

I did not calculate estimate, it already says so in the pool.
Ahh so halving was recently, that says it all.
Probably estimated TIPS/day in the pool is calculating with block reward from before the halving.

The payout is calculated on max reward like 0-1250000 , is 1250000 for block,but the real is an average 625000 . It's normal ,don't worry  |
