I've seen so many threads on other sites having mixed reviews with how crossfire should be regarding mining. What do you guys think, is there an end all be all thread explaining pros and cons?

I've tried both, and there is no difference in speed on the R9 280x Sapphires. Most people don't bother it seems, and neither do I.

I see, I'm running 2 7950s and most of the time when I use GUIminer I get 500-700 KH/s on both.

It doesn't make any difference buy I never left it enabled.
If you get good hashing leave it as it is, no need to disable it

LPC they should run fine but you will need a large power supply. My 750 wasn't enough for 2 280's plus 1 7850.

The high end GPU's(such as hd 7850) can be even better with crossife,i doubt if crossfie with lower end GPU's can be helpful.
