There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Actually they would barely be breaking even (after fees) if they bought them for $730 from Newegg:

wow I never realized the fees were that bad.

All four of these sellers on eBay for the Sapphire 6990 are obvious storefronts for Superbiiz.

Just noticed these while browsing eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sapphire-Radeon-HD6990-4GB-DDR5-DVI-4x-Mini-/290603036229?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item43a94a6e45#ht_6452wt_922

If you use your eBay Bucks discount (free money after 45 days) it comes out to about $800 shipped even.

Not too bad considering everyone else is selling used ones for more than that on eBay.

Here's their response to a question:

Dear customer,

This video card is out of stock now, we are planning to end this listing. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Best regards,
Young
