or maybe i should use pci to pci-e converter on 5 pci-e motherboard with some pci slots

currently on 4 x 5830, on kill-a-watts its only 660 watts

so intend to put 2 more 5830, maybe with 1200w coolermaster gold

i believe MSI 890FXA-GD70 or GD65 can run 6 slots. i personally have not tested it with this many though. i use the MSI xpower Big Bang x58 for 6 cards right now, it can support 7, but i have not tested it for the 7th card yet. i will soon though, when my build is complete. it's not exactly a cheap board though, about $300 for the motherboard and $200 for CPU. i haven't been good with updating performance numbers, but here's more info if you want to follow this specific motherboard:

7 will be too much, but i heard 890fxa-gd70 although it has 6, only support up to 5, anyone has luck tried on 6?

or does the PCI to PCI-E way works too?

pci to pci-e adapter should work, although these adapters are not cheap either.

Here's an ebay seller with them for $28 instead of the more typical $45. I haven't tested this  though and can only guess it's likely the same.
