I notice that most of the time a pool is geared towards making the miner anonymous
Instead, I would like my stats to be made as public as possible...  what's the best pool for this?

Eligius or HHTT. Not that you know who the people are necessarily, but you can see every miner's hash rate. HHTT needs the hash power more, and I think it wins on the payout mechanism which is much more open (no unknown in shelved shares).

One question is whether you'll be in the top 10 or whatever of hashers as many pools allow everyone to see a list of the top 10 or whatever number of hash rates and number of blocks found.
