So does this mean that once we get a better hashrate when pool is launched, profit will probably go up?

You can't really predict anything with altcoins so it's hard to compare tomorrow to yesterday. But considering the same moments in time: if we had bigger overall hashrate today/yesterday, our profits would have been bigger. The same goes for the future - we would have better profits with bigger hashrate than with smaller hashrate. At least up to some point (I guess with 10,000 MH/s you're too big for some smaller coins that give us some profits now).

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Just watch out that the hashrate doesnt get to high, see middlecoin, they payouts are getting less with a to high hashrate.

What's wrong with 165% Litecoin profitability and 0.01434 BTC/day per MH/s?! Haven't I spoiled you a bit recently? Wink

Or are you refering to last three hours which were below LTC profitability? That's normal. We also had hours with 611% LTC, 459% LTC and 379% LTC today. It's variance. Last two hours were rough because we mined some blocks of a semi-difficult coin that were later orphaned and we took a hit. That happens sometimes. Our 24-hour average is still more than great!

Terk,

Whats the authentication type we get when looking at the stats page, htaccess or something else?
I'm trying to build a basic C# app for android (mono for android) to get the stats on my phone, but i keep on getting the 401 error.

It's http basic auth, just for now until the launch.

Don't bother with scraping HTML as it may change a bit. I'll provide the same data in json very soon (and there won't be http auth as well).

Ah cool, can you let me know in advance?
Ill see if i can create an app then, mono is pretty good for it.

When's this open to the public? I'd like to point my hash at you.  I have 2 M/h with more in the post.

I think I broke something when migrating a lot of stuff between servers. Sorry for that. Can you tell me if it's working well now?

Seems a lot better now, no more massive rejects.

Rejects went down, was like 15 min mass reject.
Terk, can we have 2 minutes average hashrate stats?

I don't think 2 minute average makes sense. Hashrate reported by a pool is always only an estimate based on number and difficulty of shares that your miner sent. Even 10-minute average is very random and dependent on the luck factor. 2-minute avg would just jump between 20% and 500% of your real hashrate.

I have a pretty basic android app done which allows me to read the hashrate, immature, unexchaned, ready for payout and total expected.
Anyone else interested in it?

For now its just scraping the website, but as soon as the API is implemented i will point it to that.
Build with Xamarin (mono for android) in C#

Also need to provide proof that you are mining on Terk's pool as it is not open to public yet.
