We've been working on the Paratii [ANN] for a while, and I'm quite happy with it, but it's way denser and more informative than 99% of the ANN posts I see. Most are just a list of links and hype with very little information, while ours is quite long and wordy in comparison. Would this be a good or a bad thing to you? Do you like Announcement posts with plenty of information or very light and barebones? Would you be put off by having to read more than usual?

Related: would you be interested in the ANN of a project that doesn't have an ICO?

I personally like announcement threads where you have a lot of the information about the ICO and possible bounties and rewards.
Doesn't have to be too long, as long as the formatting looks somewhat professional.

Images can be a nice addition, but aren't needed for me personally.

I would check out the website anyway, but the thread would have to catch my eye first.

Where there is information that is being updated in the first post. If you look how announcments are made today well most of them just take screen shots of their website and copy paste those pictures. With many clappy projects and a lot of ICOs it really makes it hard to go through every projects to find the one that will matter for the long run. For me headline must be eye catching to even thing to look at the theard in the first place

I generally try to look for their industry/niche/goals first and if that interests me, I go from there.

I try to find info about their project and of course, the whitepaper.
