cant even solo mine unicoin.conf file rpcuser=abd rpcpassword=abdd listen=1 server=1 daemon=1 rpcport=50666 addnode=96.20.39.20 addnode=89.200.140.78 cgminer line cgminer -o 127.0.0.1:50666 -u abd -p abdd -I 13 -g2 --thread-concurrency 8192 cgminer stuck on started cgminer 3.7.0??  I cannot get the client to sync :/ does anyone have any extra nodes or can people post working .conf files? *frustrated* |

thanks for the link, tried it and still no success. am I missing something? I have configured and mined bitcoin litecoin asiccoin zetacoin tigercoin unobtanium fireflycoin joulecoin bytecoin and others, both solo and pooled. I have had no success with either for this coin, even getting the client to sync. No matter how I change the .conf around etc. |

Are there problems with the UniCoin blockchain? I have had to rebuild twice in 48 hours due to transactions locking up. Once I rebuild there are a lot of transactions remain unconfirmed ....
Any idea's?

It just sync with this:

still doesn't work. I am mining in a pool with payouts set to 0 (so they do not send to my offchain wallet) and listed the address from my unsynced wallet in case I do manage to get it working. I tried this conf exactly (both ways) and no luck so far. I have tried editing other confs that work for other coins (with nodes and ports changed ofc) still no luck. I am thankful for the help but wonder if anyone knows why this is so hard to sync, what the issue is? should I save the wallet file and reinstall the client etc? |

At this point I have tried everything in this and other threads. I have gotten tricky wallets to sync, scrypt and asic. This is ridiculous, the developer needs to get involved. If miners cannot configure a wallet for payments, how is a user supposed to use it? I have had an easier time resetting nodes and data on forked blockchains etc than just syncing this wallet in the first place. I like this coin actually, and have, even without a wallet been aiming some gh at it etc, just storing the coins in the pool for now. I just cannot see either a serious exchange or regular coin users adopting this coin if the main thread is nothing but people asking for help with wallets that will not load etc. Maybe a client update is in order after going over it and doing a few tests? I dunno. If anyone had the syncing issues and successfully resolved them please post exactly what you did. maybe I am missing something simple. deadcoin? |
