Indeed this thread is clearly a conflict of interests.
One company running a thread about themselves and other companies ... and down promoting one of those other companies ...
Doesn't matter if you are right or wrong, in a market where you compete for income, it's quite simply a conflict of interests.

Uh, I don't think his company is even listed there.

Uh, I don't think his company is even listed there. ... in his sig... I mean in the thread. What is the problem of having it in the sig? Other providers posting here do as well. He isn't using this thread to his advantage in any way. His service is not listed in the OP or given any reputation or such.

Its impossible for me to promote my webhost because the way i have this thread setup is that this thread is a member ran thread. The only thing i am doing is putting the information posted here in this thread in the main post with a direct link to the member that said such statement. So that the people can use it as a reference when buying my hosting. I also took the time to pm all hosting providers i know on bitcointalk to tell them about this thread and to get other bitcoin members to add reputation to it to help members choose a decent host. Now i would understand if i had my webhost listed on this thread which i don't. I have my signature but my signature is my personal space that i use across the whole forum.

Also sampathneo is mad because he had bad reviews from multiple members i contacted the guy that posted the feedback to his server because of sampath's whining and i was looking for a way to resolve the issue. this was my response from Lethn: Honestly, I think the best thing to do is ignore him, him and his staff treated me and I suspect others like crap so I don't have a lot of sympathy, the only reason he's doing this is because he's been caught out, I actually didn't realise there were other people they pissed off as well. If he's going to complain about other people he should think what the businesses webhosts support have to go through if they suffer constant downtimes and tech support stupidity.
I cannot add it as another bad review because Lethn already submitted a negative review here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39251.msg3093194#msg3093194 and also this was sent in a pm and was not publicly posted by Lethn. All reviews and evaluations must be public to be added to this post as a negative review

don't lie. your the thread owner. you created it I created this thread. Ownership was transferred to johnnyfla123 by theymos upon my request. People in this thread agreed it was ok if johnnyfla123 manages this thread as long as he doesn't exploit his power unfairly. As far as I can tell johnnyfla123 doesn't misuse his power.

Yes, I agree it's not ideal, but he's clearly doing a good job. As long as there are no other volunteers who are free from such conflict of interest... I suggest to keep things as they are. Expect some sock-puppets to volunteer now

Actually that first post does seem to be rather bias ...
It ignores my report of Kalyhost in this thread and if you search the forum it seems that my report is not the only one with regard to Kalyhost ...

Seems like these 2 guys are against the thread owner. In this thread's defense, if the owner is changed, don't let the website list be reset. It would hurt hosting services with good reviews and bump back up those with bad reviews. Actually that first post does seem to be rather bias ...

You didn't review Kalyhost, you just said he could "bag it." Didn't say anything either good or bad about it.
