Recently was trading some solidcoins for Bitcoins.  When i went to withdrawal them they disappeared completely.  I triple checked that the address was correct.  The withdrawal disappeared from their site and i have no record of it in my wallet.  My coins are gone.

Edit:  modified the topic name just in case it's an issue with their site or something.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Yes,

I also notice that it did not list my withdrawal under 'pending bitcoin withdrawals'.

I am not sure but I think I noticed something fishy on their site too. I setup a transaction and ten canceled it... I am not sure but I could swear it didnt give me back the transaction fee.

Yes, it was a Bitcoin withdrawal, not smartcoin.  Are there any other exchanges for smartcoin?

http://blockexplorer.com/address/16yDAsjXs9a8rbPLpMfDJU33pgDGGABCrh doesn't see it yet, but http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/ does:

Aug. 25, 2011, 4:05 p.m. dcdfbf985b7ea21c276cf01b93abd134fa503c66df2e732573efa6b0277a1e82
This is a low priority transaction.
This transaction includes 0.00050000 BTC as fee.
size: 258 bytes
priority: 34,813,953
input: 4.99000000 BTC
4.99000000 BTC from f603d3c840f966b8ca24d97b25d0adcf2f1bbafdfd1ae5a1a6683ca6163767ea:1 (1LVJZFuHuvUNWwBuTUoU2KGKtGPxEMoWCT)
output: 4.98950000 BTC
4.53329757 BTC to 1EtKdePjVGaTNUPNsYDE1heNfXqYsCpqWC
0.45620243 BTC to 16yDAsjXs9a8rbPLpMfDJU33pgDGGABCrh

0.0005 BTC fee makes the transaction low priority so anyone paying more gets into blocks first. Just be patient and it'll show up Smiley

why is people first reaction is "they stole it"

teh guy charges a fee on both sides of the trade

He DOESNT need to steal your coins
and how many did you have 1000 coins?
oh wait.. less than 5? and you are going to say he might have stolen your 5 coins?

perhaps their is a reason you are in the newbie section and perhaps you need to stay a bit longer.

DoubleC is very active in the community and very easy to talk to, and fixes people shit more times than he can count.

next time.. say something like .. "something went wrong with my bitcoins coming from bitparking"

START off assuming bug, and not "might be stealing"

Yes I do, do you? I'm not going to respond to you again in this forum, as this is useless.

The GUY says bitparking might have stolen his coins, I SAY bitcoin makes plenty from fees and has no need to steal coins.. You say there are no fees, I link you to site saying their are fees and that double C doesnt need his 4.5 BTC. (yes i see it was already in the blockchain, thats not the point I am talking about his original post with the original title)

and say he SHOULDNT HAVE SUGGEST THEFT WHEN THE PROBLEM WAS PROBABLY PEBCAK and HE SHOULD CHANGE THE TITLE.

I really cant dumb it down much more for you. Bitparking takes fees from trades.. no there are NOT fees for withdrawals(except transaction).. He does NOT need to steal someones 5 BTC

I lied.

I hear bran will help you with that. No one said it was about fees, bitparking isnt going to steal someones 4.5 coins not with all the coins going across the exchange. And you agreed So All I can assume is that you need more bran, and perhaps some soap.

Easy guys, No need to get all fired up  Grin i'm going to change the topic.  I already changed it once when i realized it sounded a bit accusing.  The fact it took a couple hours to even show up on block explorer was a cause for concern.

It wouldn't be hard for someone to set up a site where 10% 'disappear' and the remaining 90% went through.

I think "Bitparking.com Steels Bitcoins..." is slighty more than "a bit accusing".
