Changing your username won't help if the "stalker" knows your uid.

I guess it depends on the level of stalking or harassment etc. If you're being constantly trolled or harassed surely just report it to the mods and they can sort it.

Start a new account, and change your posting habits. If you always have spelling or grammar mistakes, then improve. If you don't then make error on purpose.

Changing your username won't help if the "stalker" knows your uid. Stalker would know old username, not new one. It's easy to work out if he comes across your old posts/threads and sees the names have changed or you have other correspondence together etc.

Make a new account or use the tor browser, the only way the stalker could keep tracking you then is if they were a hacker in which case you can call the police about it.

Not if they know the the profile id. Changing the username and using tor will not change this.

Changing your username won't help if the "stalker" knows your uid. Stalker would know old username, not new one. If they still know any of your posts, they can find you. New acct is the best option, or you can just click the 'Ignore' button for that person.

Also don't forget you can block pms from specific people, I do it all the time for people who can't take no for an answer.
