I believe DirectBet team must have their own personal reason not to sell their site away to anyone, their dedication to maintain the site and respond to every customer email is really fast and good, sometimes I do have problem with the deposit issue and their staff was always fast to assist me, I think DirectBet might have plans to return in the future, and thus they are not selling their site away, just my guess

There was no legal or financial issue as some speculated. DirectBet was very profitable.

Either way it is a really sad demise to a very good site and we really hope that the admin will change his mind at a later time and make a come back at a later time as this is a unique site which will allow players to wage a bet without registering and i could not find any other site that gives this freedom.

I don't think they'll return. It's sad to see them close like this and if we find some technology to stop people cheating for money in gambling sites then we may have chance to see directbet again.

It's good to see directbet honouring their bets. They should be in the hall of fame. Direct bets has always had good support and very active on this forum always helping out. It's normal because firstly (in a normal world) we are all honest!
So basically with bitcoin we have see a couple of heavy scams each month, but don't lost the faith!
Personally I have placed 90% of my bets only to their site.
( I have placed around 50/60 btc as volume!).
Anyway this is a big loss for all of us

Not all runs smoothly, there are people who accuse directbet scam but in my opinion, it's just people who are frustrated because lost in gambling. lol! I guess that too, no one has a problem with directbet because directbet is very fast and good in responding to any problems it faces. Proven directbet can complete the final bet and honouring their bets. I was really very lonely after the directbet was closed.
