I’m sorry but the article mentioned as booking with ETH Travel Token . Can we do it with USD as well? “digital and real money”. And does it produce an invoice or booking receipt in USD that can be users for business travel reimbursements?

We do not want the users to book their travel reservations through traditional booking. Instead, the users can use ETH Travel Tokens (ETHTT) to book and manage their airline tickets, hotel and car rental reservations. Which in turn, if they have any existing loyalty rewards/ mileage points, those will be converted into ETHTT as well. Hope this helps.

And yes, through our ETH Travel payment gateway apis, you will have the receipt in both USD and ETH Travel Token balance as well.

i do not think that disrupting the market off traveling is going to be easy but i must say that this looks as a  serious try to do it , including airlines , hotels and car rentals , will keep n eye on your thread

I concur with your statement of not easy. But, from the past decade, there is an ongoing activity between travel industries (KLM~ SPG) and other alliance partners to integrate and provide better service to the customers as the customers totally rely on third-party service to book or manage their travel reservations. And, there are many more cyber attacks that we see in today as we share our private information with multiple hands and the travelers will never know how the data is transmitted and data at rest takes place.

Yes, this will be a very huge task/project to replace the GDS. We have already addressed these issues and initiated small talk conversations with major travel industries and developing the beta phase. I hope this helps. It is not just for hotels. The project idea is to integrate all the three travel domains (airlines, hotels and car rentals) into one umbrella for the users to book/manage their travel using ETH Travel Tokens. This will also help the users with loyalty membership to not to stick with one airline (Cathay Pacific) or hotels (Hilton, Marriott). Instead, the users can choose any airlines or hotels based on the location, brand, and availability.

There are certain things to understand here.

1) If you are having a membership to a particular hotel industry (eg: ABC), will you be able to use those hotel rewards to any other hotels?
2) Can you use those rewards (ABC rewards) to book a hotel in remote place?
3) Or even, will you be able to use it for cross-domain travel industry (airlines and cars)?
4) What would be the exchange commission and cross border rates?
5) What information did you shared and how is it shared between multiple parties to book/purchase one travel ticket?

So, our idea is to integrate all the three travel domains and make it easy for the users to book their travel reservations through ETH Travel Tokens.
