I’m a little confused.  Will this be a platform for selling travel services or a currency to pay for such services?  It seems like the primary focus is for payment - what would be the main distinction between this and other payment methods (e.g. bitcoin, credit cards, etc).

ETH Travel is not a service with ties or affiliates to the traditional travel booking system (GDS, Online Travel Agencies,). Our main goal is to minimize the exposure of sensitive data in the face of present concerns with cyber attacks and frauds on the traditional payment services using credit cards.
We integrate all the travel industries and their various domains such as car rentals, hotels, and airline reservations into a single ecosystem to make bookings easy for the travelers and manage their travel expenses using ETH Travel Tokens.

I think that blockchain here plays a very important role. I have  a question in the context of the project.For instance in the help of blockchain  everyone is able to see all information about the travel booking system, which cannot be corrected and removed. It is very useful thing. Am i right?

How do you plan to reach the various domains in travel industry? Booking.com is so powerful not because of cheap prices, but because they've manage to link 90%+ of the popular hotels into their network. Beside reaching the hotels, I like the idea because booking.com is taking 12%-25% from owners for their service and this is too much!

Yes, I do agree that there are a lot of online booking platforms. But, are they decentralized? ETH Travel is a decentralized application where the travelers will be able to book their travel reservations using ETH Travel Tokens which would eliminate intermediaries (OTAs, GDS) and high commission fees.

The project idea is to integrate all the major travel domains and act as an interface between the consumers and the service providers.

With ETH Travel Tokens, users will be able to enjoy

•   Rewards/Points that will be converted to Ethereum Travel Tokens and can be used across the travel domains for making travel reservations
•   Fast transactions secured by smart contracts & usable across a variety of domains

I am interested in blockchain technology. Many cryptocurrencies as possible so i can have a bigger picture about how these dapps affects our daily life. But the biggest problem that I am afraid is local currencies in many countries. I think this platform is moving to the right way to solve all that problems.
