Have anyone withdrawn to dwolla today? I tried withdrawing a thousand bucks yesterday at 9pm, they emailed me that the funds are being transferred, but nothing landed in dwolla at all. Then I tried to withdraw a dollar to see if the whole shenanigan even works, and it's 'pending'. Have anyone made a successful withdrawal to dwolla today at all?

I too have made a Gox to Dwolla withdrawal today that has not made it to Dwolla yet. First time it has ever taken more than a couple of hours to clear.

Same story here. $1000.
I put in a ticket and it was responded to about 8 hours later. The ticket said that they were going to attempt the transaction again and let me know when it goes through. This was about 15 hours ago.

Same situation here. I made my w/d over 36h ago from Gox -> Dwolla and have yet to see it clear.

I noticed this too. Opened a support ticket last night. They said they see the transaction and that I should expect it to clear in 1 - 3 business days (as in get from mtgox to dwolla).
I've never seen a transfer from mtgox to dwolla take more than a few hours. This is strange.

FYI,
From the #mtgox IRC channel:
> (03:58:38 PM) MagicalTux: m03sizlak: dwolla changed their site, it means I need to re-code all the withdraw process. I modified it but it seems to not have been enough, I'll have to fix it more

Can somebody ltell me... why does it always feel like I'm dodging the bullet, but just barely, when I deal with mtgox? I mean, the guys are managing craploads of other people's money, could have been more open in how they communicare. You never know when *** hits the fan with them, cuz they never tell you

About a month ago I dealt with Mt. Gox once, to buy a few bitcoins. (My first). The process was a bit slow. Since then I've used Camp BX without problems several times. There's no such thing as a no-risk option, but Camp BX appears to have learned from the mistakes of many of its predecessors.
I also don't leave any significant amount of USD or bitcoins sitting anywhere but in my bank account or my own personal wallet. :-)

What sort of company handles customer money like this? Thousand dollar transfers missing for days, no notice or communication with those effected. And then you have to chase your own problem down and walk them through it.
Goxxed again

What sort of company handles customer money like this? Thousand dollar transfers missing for days, no notice or communication with those effected. And then you have to chase your own problem down and walk them through it. The problem is that there are two very young and very hungry aggressive organizations involved -- Dwolla and Mt. Gox. Both organizations follow the "release early and release often" approach to software development. Established financial institutions dance to the beat of a different drum -- one that is less tolerant of risk but at the same time is much more expensive and moves much more slowly. Here's an example. Apparently Mt. Gox has a dependency against Dwolla's web interface. When Dwolla makes changes to their site, Mt. Gox's interface breaks. Dwolla isn't concerned enough about edge cases like Mt. Gox to provide a separate environment so that those interfaces can be readied in advance. As a result, these changes to their site are terribly disruptive to Mt. Gox's customers who use Dwolla.

FWIW, I've had a Paxum withdrawal MIA for just going on 24hrs now. Usually Mt.Gox gets these done in under a couple of hours, sometimes much faster. Submitted a support ticket recently. We'll see.
Not worried...yet.
Has anyone else gotten Paxum withdrawals from gox in the last 24 hours?

All good now. Gox support handled the ticket in under an hour and said they re-tried it. $ is at Paxum now!

We'll see how much longer Paxum stays as a deposit & withdrawal method at MtGox...
Cheers, Kermee
