It occored me that a good way to acquire bitcoins anonomously is to mine them( convert electricity into bitcoins)
This could be good way for people who live in fascist countries who make bitcoins buying difficult. This could be good even if
bitcoins created is less then the cost of electricity in some cases.

I finally ordered my first ASIC miner.

I tried mining back in 2010 and couldn't get it working. A simple to use device I can plug in that does the mining with minimum effort allows me to finally count myself among the miners.

I suspect that as these simple devices become more mass produced mining will become a lot more widespread.

toomsie for sure bitcoins are full of extensive advantages due to which bitcoins are so popular these days. Yes for sure avoiding the exchanges is the advantage of bitcoin amongst many. Bitcoins are easy to use worldwide, store conveniently and earn high return

Perhaps the reason mining is mostly unprofitable is that persons without access to an exchange have no other choice and will be motivated to purchase expensive mining equipment regardless of an operating loss.
