This is idea only. I'm unable to do the work. So hoping someone will say it's easy an volunteer lol.
No real ticker option out yet.
And I bet a simple ready to boot rpi option plugged to a tv or monitor would be perfect.

Boot direct to ticker.
Show current value for specifc exchange.
Allow a seller to modify and show a buy/sell pricing based of % of current value.

And fill the screen.

Simple. Easy to setup.
How hard could this be? I'd bet you could get a lot of donations for it.

Maybe a better option instead of an rpi?

Thanks for looking.

I could do this. I build RaspPi bitcoin miner controllers in bulk. It'd be nothing hard to do a ticker.

Smiley would think it would be easy.

Was hoping someone with more know how than me could do the project, maybe give it out free and accept donations. I know of many businesses that would like to see this offered. The more alt coin's the better.

My biggest request would be the ability to multiply, So we can say Buy @ 95% of current value, Sell at 103%

I'm Canadian so would love to be able to use CAVirtex, along with the other popular exchange's.

I'd but up for putting up a basic wordpress site/domain to advertise for the work done Smiley do guide's for how to setup etc.

Thanks

Why would I want to hand build an LCD display?
I have or have access to the kit. I repair electronics for aircraft as my day job. But I'd rather buy a 19" monitor and be done with it lol

Just FYI, when you say "ability to multiply...buy...sell", you appear to be requesting a trading platform, not a simple ticker.  Building a full multi-exchange client with the capacity to perform secure transactions is *much* more difficult than building a simple ticker.  A ticker is easy -- a multi-exchange trading platform...not so much.

No no, multiply as in, If a store is selling BTC, and wants to advertise they're current sell price.

I could for example
Buy Price = Current value * .95 [meaning it show's 95% of current value
Sell Price = Current Value *1.05 [showing 105% of it's current value.

Rather than a buy/sell store/office having to say "that price plus 5%"

Or what ever they choose.

Also just have it show current rate's.

that make more sense?

Unsure what that means?
I'm not looking to sell these.
I just know of a few local place's that sell bTC, and I'm sure there are more exchange locations that would like to have a live buy/sell rate's shown. instead of having to look at a website and calculate every time.
