I actually wanted to post a warning about a new virus that I got last night after downloading a MoonCoin Wallet. I was on a few sites related to MoonCoin and I got infected badly with a CSRF attack. I highly recommend you check into it. I believe the attack's purpose was to change the payment address in my mining pool. Make sure your addresses are locked down so they can't be changed. I know this doens't really belong in the Newbie section, but what can I do?

I actually think that they're pretty reasonable.

It's pretty much standard practice to discourage trolls and spammers since this forum attracts a lot of them. Still they seem to get through.

Hello!

The restriction is not so bad. You'll be able to post anywhere in 4 hours and PM anyone after 10 posts, you can have all that done in 24 hours and as we're all in this for the long term, it doesn't seem a bad idea to Sandbox everyone for a very limited period of time!

There is a sticky at the top for Newbies to read - I actually missed it at first and wondered why I couldn't find a "Reply" button on the threads - doh

I'm totally new to crypto, had only ever heard of BTC - had no idea there were alts until a few days ago. Anyway, i'm mining already and using these forums to learn how to setup a decent scrypt rig so cannot wait until the shops open Smiley

Have loaded up on QRK, DOGE, FTC and LTC. In this for the long haul JUST IN CASE this is only the beginning for crypto currencies Cheesy

Collecting the following:

QRK: Qcfuxzmzev2Vz4PamuxUtPg8WzqPicrWUa
FTC: 6paiFEVnPMvhrxvWMVjLpZuspGmRuwTtjN
LTC: LWaHKH618e7z22PBLzbRUG4XrSX2GirwA3
DOGE:DUNBJgJ3qJTUgBcamjMYWp8LAZgZwV7ZyB

MOON: Anyone know where I can get a Mooncoin wallet for Mac?
