The MSRP on those cards is $300, there probably just isn't the demand that there is in other countries. I don't see any reason not to buy. I paid $399 each for 4x Club3D RoyalKing 280xs locally recently because they were the only cards I could get. Check eBay, you could resell immediately for profit.

That doesn’t sound too far off, I saw an XFX 280x going for $349 Canadian yesterday.

I also ordered a few MSI ones for $339 Canadian on backorder, suppose I should have ordered the Asus for $349 on backorder as I've seen them go in and out of stock since ordering the MSI ones.
