This guy is advertising his 4x R9 270x mining litecoin at 2500 KH/s.  That's impossible right?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-Mh-s-Litecoin-Feathercoin-Dogecoin-Miner-SCRYPT-MINER-/121242954264?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item1c3aa4aa18

Since each one would need to get 625khs and they dont get that much,do they even if heavily overclocked?

Yeah, pretty sure that's completely impossible without some incredibly impressive overclocking and subsequent cooling.

470 each max...
Yup, that should be about as good as it gets with air cooling.

They are essentially 7870's, though they tend to have slightly better memory bandwidth and overall performance. Might be due to more refined bios rather than some difference in hardware, I haven't found any clear explanation for the documented (minor) differences in performance.

In terms of hashing, they should perform very comparable to an equally clocked 7870.

Yeah, I get 435 out of my R9 270X. I may get a little more. but, it's not stable.

whats the point from these r9 270x then if I can get from my 5850 exactly 400khs when OC'd? (2.5X cheaper Used)

The 270x should be decently more efficient but profitability is high and power costs generally low enough that it doesn't really matter.

No reason at all to stop using (or buying) 5830s and above. If you have 'em, mine away or send them here Cheesy.

r9 270 x maximum speed = 476 KH/s

Source : https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

so there is no way 4 of them will run at 2500 KH/S
