Hi everyone,

As I'm new to the forum, my question will ave to be put in this section.
So on my hunt for some newly released CC, I stumbled across kittehcoin and decided to mine it for fun for a little while.

However, for some reason I do not get any credit, either solo or in a pool.
What freaks me out is that the "entire pool" is estimated on 200 MH/s, while my gpu manages to reach 300 MH/s.
Are they rejecting gpu miners or what?

Using the built-in miner gets me 1kH/s, which is very poor I think. It's also not possible to use the pool option because pools use stratum, and this inbuilt cpu miner automatically uses the http connection.

Any of you know what is going on there?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Would you mind sharing which pool you are connecting to?

I seriously doubt your video card is reaching 300MH/s, probably more like 300KH/s (KILOhash, not MEGAhash).  Sometimes the pool operator messes up the labels on the display, it's also easy to overlook the labels.

Also, your confirmed and unconfirmed balances are not always displayed in real-time.  Give it an hour or two, they should update.
