When I entered in crypto last year, zcash was the 2nd largest currency in terms of USD valuation.
Why there is no such growth in zcash.

The aspect that differentiates Zcash from the other cryptocurrencies that specialize in anonymity, has to be their use of zk-SNARKS. This acronym stands for "Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge" and this is a method that can be used for one party to prove to another that a statement is true, without revealing any information aside from the validity of the statement itself. I think crypto industry is still developing. So, in my point of view, I believe no Zcash has not degraded rather some other one has developed more than the one which is not now in the list.

Not all coins / altcoins grow at the same time. ZCash is a privacy focused cryptocurrency, and you've already had a great answer explaining a little bit about it. I do think that such currencies will grow a lot in the near future, but in any case you should always have a diversified portfolio of cryptos you do believe in, after doing your own research.

Zcash is a cryptocurrency used on a public blockchain like Bitcoin, but the difference is that users have the ability to make their transactions private.
This can be useful for users that want to keep their financial information confidential. There are many benefits of using Zcash, and other cryptocurrencies like Monero especially for large corporations that want to keep their purchasing details private from competitors.

Currently the price of Zcash [ZEC] is above $1000 (which is higher than Bitcoin at around $725), and was over $2,000,000 for 1 Zcash a few days ago, but similar cryptocurrency Monero [XMR] is around $5 and was only 2-3 times that 2 months ago..

The big difference though is Monero's available supply is 13,249,825 and Zcash is around 5,000 (and will go up to 21 million just like Bitcoin) this obviously explains how Zcash can be seen as more valuable right now.

So only the community and time will tell the true value of Zcash, but it definitely is disrupting the crypto-world and is helping take cryptocurrency mainstream!

I like ZCash (ZEC) not for the subterfuge attribute; but for the Technical Perspectives...bullish! Yes, one might be thinking how a bullish sentiment can exist during a correction...very simple, awareness of the higher degree of trends. The best way to perceive this is to not confuse the trees from the forest. While price at a microwave level can flick around like a fish out of the ware, the Ocean remains calm and undisturbed. The below chart contains my prior, original markings, pretty close and now the wave 2 correction is in progress. Not too shabby.



Here is the larger degree of trend perspective which ebs and flows with ease and calm. The microwaves seem nothing more than a tempest in a tea cup! A forgiveable event because it mattered none to the higher degree, real waves. My original targets remain solid!


I'm discerning a probable fractal between the previous correction and current decline. The green boxes show the fractal potential region. What are fractals? They are highly similar but not exact patterns. So, per this, we could see another Cup & Handle or another form of extended, lateral, lengthy correction. They have to live up to their genetic syndrome of Hurry Up & Wait!

Zcash is so unique as you said. zcash only offers the possibility to make our transaction becomes anonymous through use zk snark system and zkstart still in the development and no more. The majority of people in these days are looking for the utility usage from the token itself just like you can earh annual return or bonus from your token.

Because of all the coins of anonymity, the first place in demand is now a monero. zcash is like an analog for replacement, it can and will be raised, but developers need to think a little about its further development.
