Hi,

my new lotto site is 90% completed.

It is based on the New York Take 5 lotto to make the result picker 100% transparent.

Feedback and bug reports here please.

Thanks

Joe

*** UPDATE ***

Thank you to all that purchased tickets. Winning amounts will be paid out within 24 hours.

Thank you to the bug reports, i will have those ironed out for round 2.

The result will be a number from 1 to 100

Nice idea, but what happens if there is only a few tickets. Lets say 10 tickets... and the number of the winner is 20 or something.

Ah sorry i need to change that.

The number will only result in a number within the range of tickets sold. If you check the code, the upper number will be the number of tickets sold.

The same number will be generated each time with the code.

Can you buy more than one ticket with the same deposit address?

yes, deposit addresses are asigned to each payout address per round, if you send another request, it will give you the same address, but only for that round.

some deposits coming though now.

i should of mentioned that deposits have to be 0.05BTC per ticket! as each entry will acount as 1 ticket.

I'm going to have to refund any amount over 0.05BTC on each ticket. Will update the values when tickets are confirmed

Hmm I bought multiple tickets (4 in total) with the return address of: 1EjMmfNzgTqVdLbXvtVXvuHDSKWCesCwc8

And I did send them as 0.05 purchases... so 4 transactions.

It appears to have come up on the site as only 1 ticket purchased with the 'Amount' as 0.20 :S

Eventually it will run every day. but at the moment theres some script changes i need to make. eg, multiple ticket purchasing. I will make it possible to deposit 1 amount where each 0.05 will be an individual ticket and it will be displayed this way. Also need to stop any deposits that are confirmed after the end time and automatically refund them. had 1 come though 5 minutes late that i had to stop.

I also want to have the site self contained where it would grab the winning numbers itself and do automatic payouts... the draw is at 4AM here in the UK!

Will make another thread once round 2 starts
