Hi,

Total newbie question here, but I just joined a pool mining and I followed the instruction (it's the first time i do mining coins Tongue)

why when I use the recommended setup with the '--scrypt' it does not work:
cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum+tcp://earth.fast-pool.com:3377 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

and when i'm using without it , it works:
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://earth.fast-pool.com:3377 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

Am I doing doing something wrong? is it ok to use the command line without the --scrypt  Huh?

I'm using cgminer 3.7.2 under windows 7 64 bits
