I'm trying to open up a Bitcoin Funded Community center in my town. I have been trying for the last few months to receive donations as i am new to the bitcoin community. I'm learning as i go i haven't mined yet just allot of faucets and chat rooms to make BTC anyway i started a website http://bitcoincommunitycenter.com/ to accept donations. Please read our mission statement.

we are looking for 50 BTC to start our project that will cover rent, electricity, After School Programs, Hardware for a few months. We plan on mining and teaching the youth about mining in the center.

The payment would be a 15% percentage of what we make at the center or your 50BTC with interest. I know its allot of BTC but definitely worth it for our future youth to spread and use BTC. We would need time to give payback as the payback is coming from our mining.

i will provide the information required for this loan. Please help us with a Loan or Donation.

Happy New Years

Not that I'm going to give you a single cent, but why does it have to be Bitcoin? Do you accept other forms of donation like bank deposit?

You should first learn about mining from someone else.  There's no way you would ever be able to pay the loan back from mining.

@cp1 We are partnered with NAMI National Alliance of Mental Illness to accept Donations.

@Tomatocage I know its not real Mining but i have had a Cex.io account for 3 months and i read allot about mining. I want to get if possible the THS rigs. I was looking into a blackarrowsoftware.com/store/prospero-x-1.html when i 1st started but was advised by someone that will be irrelevant in a few months when they turn on the THS. I will probably still get Prospero-x to mine other coins.

Whatever you mine with, you'll never make back the amount of btc you spend to buy the miner.

TBH I think this is legit, but 50 BTC is kind of a lot of money now.

I have a LLC Bank Account im building up my credit with. BTC will not only be the centers only source of income i accept donations when people donate to NAMI in behalf of the center. They get a Tax exempt number to file taxes. Trust me i have applied for grants but have gotten little money. I really believe BTC or Alt Currency is the way to go for the other income to make this happen.

I wouldnt go that far, it's possible, all be it more improbable. There's a lot of factors that could easily come in to play to make it more than possible.

To be decided...

Why can you get fiat loans on bank then convert it to btc? Or invest on those THS rigs in fiat? KNC allows bank transfer: https://www.kncminer.com/pages/payment (second bullet point). (Please correct if I'm wrong)

50BTC is like USD$38,860 (preev avr.)

Good luck.

Peace,
Not all the BTC will be used for mining hardware, I know its a long investment i appreciate any advice on how to go about fundraising in BTC. I'm really trying to raise BTC for youth and community. I read allot post on people being scammed. I gave out hints as to who i am and what i do please take the time to research and see that i am about what im trying to do. Allot of places where i live offer spaces with free electricity that's what im looking for to begin the project. If you guys have old hardware you would like to donate let me know. I have a tax exempt number you can send it directly to NAMICT  National Alliance of Mental Illness CT.
PM me for the information
Happy New Year

OK maybe I was to quick to call this a scam. but If this is real I wish you all the best.

But I think you will find it hard to raise any bitcoin without full disclosure and transparency.

Think about it what is stopping any scammer from doing what you are and running with the coin?
