No.. Unlike money that they can just snatched with your either it is on your pocket or on your atm cards Bitcoin provide a private code that will take time and hard to crack so when you keep your private code safely then safety of it is higher.

There is only one way in that someone can really steal your bitcoins; you are a dumbass and you do not even know how to protect your coins, because you store them in a shitty wallet just like coinbase or any other online wallet.

I think it could happen, but it's very small to find that gap. the random potential almost reaches millions of codes to match the btcoin address with private key. at this time i have not heard about the theft using the code in a random way.
some thefts were caused by keylogers obtained from fake websites.
to be honest, you should not be afraid of theft through random code, all you need to be aware of is a fake website that steals your secret key.

There is a slightly chances that this could be happen but not now, you need an extensive knowledge of programming to do it. but most of the people are not capable to understand programming so there are only a small chance for it to be stolen.

Of course, I can. Because there is nothing safe on the internet. I think someone could just get into your wallet and take what you have. But you do not have to worry as long as you believe that you have not done anything wrong with your wallet. Perhaps the hackers just broke into having lots of bitcoins.

If you are storing bitcoin in your computer for sure you need to have protected computer and have an updated computer and anti-virus but as well you need to have a password on your wallet to make sure that no one will be able to access it or to make transfers but mostly for me I just used the two-factor or the authentication which is pretty good and it really gives a security in your account. You should not tell anyone that you have a bitcoin or that where your bitcoin is stored, for me I never tell anyone except my family but they don't know how it works and where do I store it to make a privacy with my coins.

Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

Of course there is especially when you didn't protect those informations that are involve with your private wallet. Also, you should be more careful when visiting websites that can harm your btcs. It was adviceable to always check the link when vising sites like exchangers for there are a lot of fake sites that are made just to steal your funds. Actually, this forum has also a fake site with the name

Bitcointalk.to.

So always check the link.

Of course there is always a possibility for hackers to crack your private key. My suggestion is don't try to login your private key on many computers, then your coins will be safe. it's all depends on us being able to save smartly.

Program parasites now on the Internet enough. Steal any information from computers, not just bitcoins. Hackers feel their impunity, because to track all operations with them is simply not yet possible.

You are right. Crime can happen anywhere. The thieves will surely capitalize on every opportunity to steal our assets. Hackers will definitely do all sorts of ways. Keep your private key private. Do not arbitrarily open suspicious websites, and always bookmark any important websites like an exchange website, as many of the current phishing cases.

well because there are many cases of bitcoin theft because of the weakness of the system you have to use Bitcoin wallet service that guarantees its security.
