yes if you are careless about your bitcoin holdings and disclose the important details on your digital wallet then somebody could steal your bitcoin holdings. Usually the scam event that would most likely to get you disclose your digital wallet details is the phishing your digital account wallet details. Of course it could be possible having them to offer you a good deal and once you get baited by it then you will be able to disclose your digital wallet account details.

Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

Stealing is really possible. It's just that there are different cases that it might happen. We all know that the private keys are made for security. Every code is very unique and the chances of stealing are very small. Hence, if you are the one who lost your private keys or forgot them then it could be of a really bad idea. While if your coins are lost then it will contribute to bitcoins value but it is not considered as a stole. So people, must always take good care of their accounts to prevent such things.

Yes that is possible. There are people that are very good at hacking a wallet so better make sure that your wallet is secured. With the value of bitcoin many expert are tempted to do the hacking for them to be able to get more bitcoins.

The bitcoin wallet is also not safe because if someone gets access to one's wallet then they can transfer whole of the amount to our wallet.A software can also be developed that can control the bitcoin usage all over the world. They will try and thousands of times to hack our account before but they can not sign in to our account to steal our bitcoin.

If you have very easy security to track it in my opinion it will happen but if you have high security it will be difficult for them.

Why not? The person who want to steal it , if he can collect your account information, only then he can do it. If your information are safe, you are using secure app like metamask etc. Then it will be safe. And none can steal them.

I think BTC is have a very high security when we talk about stealing. Unless there are another person who can access or knows your password including your account.. and that is the only way to steal your BTC. Even the hackers can't.

The question itself is self explanatory, IMO. Of course, anyone can steal your bitcoin anytime soon as long as you are careless enough to give your account information that would lead that someone to open your bitcoin wallet including your emails.

yes they can. if you have no solution to protect your wallet and computer, you will lose your coins. i always use strong password, authy and metamask to protect my wallet
It can possibly be stolen, if you save your data and passkey in the internet. People nowadays were very hi-tech which they can dig up information and password of that account. So protect your data when you still can.

Well you must be unlucky if one of the hackers choose your account. It’s either you’re not being careful with your action or it’s your really unlucky day that the hacker found out about your account. I think the only solution to this is you must be very careful not to cross with the hackers and add a little more safety to your account

At the moment, there is a double-variance system on the exchange. Thanks to it, your money is not lost anywhere, even if you steal an email.

Bitcoin is almost impossible to steal, and it would be much more expensive to attempt to find private keys than it would to just mine it.

Anybody can do it, once they know your private key they can easily access your wallet then transfer your bitcoin into their account. Therefore you need to properly safe keep your private key where you are the only one knows it.

As long as you're careless, anybody can steal your bitcoin. To avoid unfortunate instances, you should always keep your bitcoin in a safe and trustworthy wallet, by doing this you can start investing again without worrying about your bitcoin being stolen. Also, you should not click carelessly for there are phishing sites that can rob all of your information together with your bitcoin.

That is actially a good question. Seems like you just need to take a good care about your private details and do not provide an access to third parties. and it will be safe.
But there is always a possibility of someone hack your computer or just you will use your wallet on someones computer and it will remember your private information and so on. So many vulnerabilities...

Yes, if they have my private key or wallet access. Because without my private key or If I don't click any suspicious link then I think Hackers can't steal my bitcoin.  But your question has a point, that's why everyone suggests using a hardware wallet than an online wallet. I am using blockchain online wallet with the all security enabled. Hope my BTC is safe enough.

Hackers nowadays are getting better and better and if you are not going to be careful with your storing of bitcoin, you can potentially loose everything you have right now. I would recommend that you find a good wallet and make sure that it is proven and tested to be worth your trust, afterwards, make sure it is fully secured so that you won't end up getting hacked.
