Mining simultaneously with Nvidia and AMD

i have GTX 670 4 GB and R9 280x Toxic.
both are installed on the same mobo, the AMD in slot 0(first one), and the Nvidia in the second slot.
there are some pci clots between them(not PCIe).
when starting CGminer it mines on the Nvidia one.
with argument -d 0 it still does(although it is in the second slot), and with argument -d 1 it says no device detected.


any help please?

P.S i tried to switch between them(same results),and each one mines great individually.
both cards have a screen attached to them.

For your 280x, in cgminer try adding:

--gpu-platform 0

If it doesn't work with 0, replace with a 1.

will try that tomorrow (cant get to my pc today)
btw what are the best clock speeds for the R9?
mine runs at 1150 core, 1800 mem(overclocked from 1600) and 875 vddc.
should i reduce core clocks?

I got it working with older cards, but had to use a very specific beta nvidia driver that let CUDA work while using an ATI card, it's probable that your cards are too new for that one.

Possibly you will have to run 2 instances of cgminer, one for each.

sorry, i am new miner and new member, how to use cgminer to find btc, it seems it doesn't work properly,

run cgminer with -n flag and see what devices use which platform and use the gpu map features to activate the correct platform and device.
if u can post a screenshot when u run the "cgminer -n" in your command prompt, i can guide you properly
