How to earn merit?

Could someone explain how the merit system work? I have been stuck in the junior member and I learned that to move to member status, we need 10 merit. I believe I have been posting posts which are constructive as well. Essentially, i have quite a bit understanding about blockchain technology now, and I am trying to learn write smart contract in Solidity.

I want to have guidance from the community members so that I could improvise further and earn merit from community

Hello friend, to gain merits you must post on serious discussion like about Bitcoin and crypto currency. You may also join those merit service thay you will answer there question and if you answer it with good idea you will earn merit from them.
